Exeter Property Circle are hosting their next Networking Event in Exeter this month

Exeter Property Circle is a networking group for people working within property in and around Exeter.

Events are informal and a great way to meet new contacts and catch up with old ones in a friendly environment over a drink.

Please join us on 19th April at Exeter City FC for an evening of networking and drinks with Julian & Jamie.

We will be joined by Guest Speakers Julian Tagg ECFC President, Director of External Affairs & Exeter CITY Community Trust Chairman and Jamie Vittles, Chief Executive of Exeter CITY Community Trust.

Julian & Jamie will be talking all things Exeter, business and property as well as talking about the Exeter City Community Trust, one of the Charities we are happy to be supporting again this year.

Tickets are £12 and include a welcome drink on arrival.

Exeter Property Circle is non profit and all money raised is split between our 2 chosen charities, Exeter Chiefs Foundation & Exeter City Community Trust. Both charities do amazing work for our local communities so we are really pleased to be able to support them.

Anyone working within property in and around Exeter is welcome so please do spread the word and invite your colleagues along. We look forward to seeing you soon!

6.15 pm - We hear from our Guest Speakers

6.30 onwards - More networking and drinks. The bar will be open throughout the evening so that you can continue chatting for as long as you like!

Tickets are now available for the next Exeter Property Circle Business Event.

Please join us for networking & drinks at The Quayside Distillery on 13th October 2022 between 5.30 and 7.30 pm.

We are joined by Guest Speakers James Miles & Michael Tilston from The Mortgage Quarter in Exeter.

They'll be sharing their industry insight using a fun quiz to give Exeter's property professionals an update on the property market and mortgage industry.

Quayside Distillery is also offering distillery tours to all attendees to allow people to learn all about their innovative distillation methods

Tickets are £12 and include a welcome drink of either prosecco / soft drink or a large G&T from the Quayside Distillery itself!

Kitley House Hotel strikes Gold and Silver in Devon Tourism Awards 2019

Kitley House Hotel is celebrating being named Devon's ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’ and scooping Silver in the Business Events Venue of the Devon Tourism Awards. The four* hotel, restaurant and wedding venue was delighted to win Gold against stiff competition from other leading businesses in the wedding venue category of the awards.

Kitley House Hotel was presented with its two sparkling Dartington Crystal trophies by Kate Salmon, a co-founder of Plastic Free Exeter and a member of the 'Row For The Ocean' team - the fastest all-female crew in the 2018 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

The Awards saw a record of 240 entries across 27 different categories, with 167 entrants - including Kitley - receiving judge visits as part of a comprehensive judging process. Judges described Kitley as a Wedding Venue that was "Charming, with a real sense of grandeur" and a Business Events Venue providing "The perfect backdrop for any meeting or conference".

Kitley House is a 500-year-old former manor house with a rich history set in a stunning 600-acre, family-run estate beside the Yealm estuary, near Plymouth. The ancestral home of the Bastard family, it was taken back into family hands last year and has since undergone a sensitive programme of restoration and renovation.

Managing Director, Spike Bastard, says “We are over the moon to have won not one, but two awards. We know that Kitley is a fabulous place to get married and now it’s official - the best wedding venue in Devon in 2019! We were delighted too to pick up a Silver award as Business Events Venue. Our two crystal trophies are fantastic recognition of all the hard work and commitment shown by our team over the last year. A massive thank you to the judges.”

Kitley House Hotel is celebrating winning Gold and Silver in the prestigious Devon Tourism Awards 2019. The four* hotel was delighted to win Gold as ‘Wedding Venue of the Year’ against stiff competition from other leading businesses, and also scooped Silver in the ‘Business Events Venue’ category.

Kitley House Hotel received its two sparkling Dartington Crystal trophies at the Riviera Centre in Torquay on Thursday 28th November.

Guests at the dinner were treated to two inspirational presentations with a sustainability theme from Michael Smith, Co-Founder of the Venus Company, and Kate Salmon, a scientist with the Met Office in Exeter and part of ‘Row for the Ocean’, the fastest, all-female, rowing team in the 2018 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, raising awareness of ocean plastic pollution.

Digital Marketer Alastair Banks, Director of Optix Solutions, will be the guest speaker at July's Networking Breakfast.

Alastair, who co-founded Optix Solutions in 1999 with an Exeter University course-mate, will be speaking about 'The Surprising Similarities between Rugby and Digital Marketing'.

The morning will begin with networking from 8.15am followed by a full English breakfast at 8.30am. Our speaker will commence at 9.00am and the morning will finish at approximately 9.45am.
